One of the most famous murder trial's in Canadian History took place in the Princeton area, in a dark corner of the world now referred to as the Benwall Swamp. This section details three dastardly deeds to come out of Oxford County. The first is the murder story mentioned above.

The second is a story of chicken stealing in Princeton.

The third is the story of a cement plant in Beachville that bilked hundreds of thousands of dollars out of the local community - and never made cement.
