Following the sinking of the Steamer Atlantic, the American Express Company went straight to work in an effort to retrieve money that had gone down with the ship. Upon arriving at the site of the wreck all of the divers save one refused to explore the dangerous depths in search of their treasure. It is a story of greed and perseverance that would cripple the life of diver Johnny Green.
