Rondeau Park

It started out as a military ordinance park because of its fine timber, but was soon turned into Ontario's second provincial park. Rondeau’s oak-savannah forest is home to a diverse ecosystem of plants, birds, mammals and reptiles.

Rondeau grew into a very popular tourist area, drawing campers from both Canada and the U.S. It was a boon to the local economy and still serves as an important nature reserve today.
