More than a linear documentary, the DVD allows users to explore the history of your community using the interactive qualities of DVD & Blu-ray. approximately 500 free copies will be distributed to every school, museum, library and historic site in your community, and additional copies will be for sale throughout Ontario.

One Video, Many Ways to View
There are several ways to view the stories on each DVD. The viewer can watch the feature length (roughly 120 minute) documentary from start to finish; they can choose specific stories to view from a list; they can choose each story based on its geographical location; or they can use a timeline to choose stories based on when they occurred in history.
